Talking of antifreeze, I popped into my local Vauxhall dealership today (was Dixon Rover way back, where I bought the car). The current price for their OAT concentrate is £16.92 (incl 20% VAT) for a 5 litre bottle (equiv to £3.38/litre). The current Part Number is 93165162.
In 2006, as Dixon Vauxhall, they sold the same stuff (93170402) at £2.43 per 1 litre bottle incl 17.5% VAT. Halfords current equivalent is £21.99 (incl VAT) for 5 litres or you can buy their ready mixed (50% water) for £18.99 for 5 litres. This makes the OAT in there almost £38 for 5 litres. I guess mixing it with tap water must be very expensive. I wonder which they sell more of? TC (I copy-pasted this info from my thread ont'other channel, so if you think you've read it before, you probably have.) |

Good up dateT-cut, only posted to someone yesterday that red oat from Vauxhall is cheapest,
Could it be that some are too idle to make a 50/50mix or even understand the term! If I want to buy water, its for drinking not to line someones pocket---- |
