Default Transit locking problem

Ok I know its not MGR but hoping someone can help . My 07 Transit will not lock, the door open ;right on the dash is on even though all doors are slammed shut as is the bonnet. The doors will not lock, if i try using either the key or the button, they lock, but then the horn sounds and they spring open again.I found the nearside sliding door switch to be a bit dodgy, last week, so clean contacts on the switch, lubricated the pin switch too, and it worked for a few days. just come back from a few days away with the caravan, went to move it tonight, and wouldn't lock again. I have done the same, checked all the switches, removed the connector for the suspect switch, and nothing has changed. Already been on the Transit forum, and they said do the above, which I have and no difference. Any ideas anyone ?

Now sorted, took it to an auto electrician friend, who said straight away it will be a fault in the harness inside the back door, its a common problem, sure enough as soon as we removed the inner door panel, there was a broken wire staring us in the face.
