Default Castle Howard Fathers Day Rally

Well the time has come and I am just about to apply for the tickets, so if any member would like to attend, then this is the final chance to attend, and get the discount. it is important that we have as near as possible the exact numbers as the space allocated will be based on the final number I submit. We currently have 25 members attending which is a good turnout, and the cost works out at £120, therefore it will work out at £5 per car, and that includes all occupants, there is £5 left over, and that should cover the cost of postage, and also the cost to buy some frames, so that we can also have some prizes, best in four classes, 75, ZT, 75-T and ZT-T

Once I have sent off for the tickets then members will be committed to make payment to me on the day, when I hand out your tickets at the meet location, or by paypal if you do not attend

This is one of the best shows around to attend, and with approx. 1000+ cars in attendance, there are lots of marques to see, and there will be some stunning examples to admire, and there will also be a number of car dealers showing their new models

During the course of the day in the arena, there will be a number of events going on, and there will also be a quad bike stunt display

Regards

Stuart

PS if you miss the deadline then you can still attend but the cost will be £36 for a family ticket, so if you are displaying with us that is a huge saving for a great day out

Default Castle Howard

Well I have submitted our application forms for attendance at the Fathers day rally, and would like to thanks all the members who are supporting the event

The plan is to meet at the café on the A64, at around 0815 hrs, and then depart at 0845 hrs, and then drive the 10 miles to the show, hopefully arriving at around 0900 hrs (trying to avoid queues to get in), and then we can park up

This is the planned route from the café to Castle Howard

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/Hi...2!2d54.1218033

At the café, I will hand over an envelope to each member and contained within the envelope will be the ticket, information sheet, voting form and a windscreen pass which should be placed in your car as we arrive

During the course of the day, can you fill in your voting form and put it in the box which will be available.

Also make sure that about an hour before you depart, you go to the Yorkshire Post Bus which will be near the central arena and collect your plaque for attendance at the show. Last time we attended at the Harewoood venue, our club won the best club stand

very much looking forward to the show, and once again thanks to all the great members of this club, and hope that you enjoy the day

Stu

Cool

As age creeps up, rapidly these days, on me I've booked a hotel on Saturday so that it will not be such a rush to get to the meet up point on Sunday. Hoping the weather stays sunny for the day out. Be a trip down memory lane for me.

Sadly I have applied for tickets, but if you want you can send off an application form or even better still call them and try and book ticket, think it will cost you around £6 plus postage costs

(I would suggest this option)

Karen Goodridge-Cross on 0113 238 8201
(Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.00pm)

or send off an application form, but please do state part of the Rover 75 and MG ZT Club

http://www.jpeventsnorth.co.uk/yp/ev...r-your-car.php

and do it sooner rather than later, and the same applies to any other members who would like to attend

Stu

Default Castle Howard

Just as a reminder, the event is taking place a week on Sunday at Castle Howard, North Yorkshire, and we have approx. 25/26 members attending.

At the event, their will be a number of displays in the arena during the course of the day, with a Quad Bike display team, and there will be a number of new car dealers display their products, ranging from:

BMW, Mini, Jaguar, Land Rover, VW, Lexus and Toyota, Skoda and Vauxhall, and there will also be numerous other stands selling there products

We are hoping to arrive at approx. 0900 hrs at the venue to try and avoid the huge queues, which will happen, and get into the showground, set up, and then we can start to enjoy the day

During the course of the day, there will be things to do other than look at Cars

http://www.jpeventsnorth.co.uk/yp/ev...w/whats-on.php

Very much looking forward to the show, and one last thing will be that on arrival at the show, can you place the Windscreen Pass in your windscreen showing the club Logo, as we will need these during the course of the day

Many thanks to all for supporting this event, and nice to see a good few attending

Many Thanks

Stu
