Default Diesel Tensioner pulley.

Has been confirmed by Lighteningmark that the rover 75 diesel tensioner pulley is the same as the BMW. The spigot may be different but the pulley is the same. £64 as opposed to £150 on rimmers.

Before anyone spends any money.... John has requested confirmation from members that the BMW part is the same as that on our engines....

Can anyone help ?

I would imagine that this would be the case, but confirmation would be good

HI Barry.
The ebay number above points to the Tensioner pulley in the link below and is of OE quality not original part brand is INA ?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2719925980...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I have never used one, but here below is a gates one which I should imagine would be a bit better quality again I do not know for sure. and the cost is below the £49 of the INA one.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3114903148...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Also both need to be checked against an original one before purchase

The measurements on the Gates 1 are quite a bit smaller. That's why it would be helpful if someone had a 75 on hand to check.

It is the same switch for a car without cruise control as it is a single pole switch.
The brake switch for cars with cruise control has the same part number but with an "A" at the end and is a dual pole switch

A last ditch question about front dampers for a ztv6, i'm about to replace mine, and the only options available are the comfort spec ones..
So, has anyone managed to fit bmw 5 series (e whatever?), instead of these? Ideally I would buy some Monroe gasmatic or equivalent, but allas they aren't available...
