That I can forgive because he hasn't got the option of putting the roof up!

I used to race a 350 Cobra (kitcar), did many miles between race circuits in Southern Africa, including Kyalami, Swarztkops and even the circuit in Mozambique outside Lorenco Marques.

Scary and exhilarating, motoring at its best and at its worst. We had a top, but the 40 minutes that it took to put it on-it was easier to get wet driving.

We got sunburnt one day and frostbite the next, best fun on four wheels I have ever had.

Is that a kit car or is it an original Cobra.

The plate & boot badge suggest a very desirable and valuable car.

Interesting motor that, most used at least the 350/351 cubic inch, unless they have used the Rover motor, which for some reason was not easy to fit into most kit cars.

Most original Cobras had the small roll bar behind the driver and jacking points as apposed to any sort of bumpers.

A nice car in any guise though.
