Lol.. If it was the supercharged kv6 220 ZT we were talking about, I might have agreed with you

385 BHP actually, however I've worked on a twin turbo V18 TM410 which produced 11400 HP at 500 RPM, so I'm not impressed that much

lol..

oh, I know the quoted 385 'factory' super charged power output, but I'm sure more power was available than that. I'm sure I've seen 400+ bhp on these wooden ford engines.

Exactly a little life breathed into a dull engine. Without the supercharger the V8 is V dull and heavy.

Look Im not dissing the car its the price. You can get an actual Mustang with a Rousch super charger for less money. I know its horses for courses and I was expecting a but of backlash for voicing my opinion.

If you got a LHD, remove the bulkhead half the dash, seat, add a short pipe, and 65 to 600mm adapter, do you think you could fit one of those turbos onto the M47, then would the 160 map
be effective? Although maybe need to add another M47 to spool it up first though lol

Possibly not Alan, it would be more at home living in a product built in the yard next door to the picture in your signature though

lol not a recent product though, it has been a very long time since they built a ship

Although currently they are building pylons for wind farms, quite fascinating, I get to see them assembled everyday. Actually yesterday was the first time I have seen Samson (or Goliath) actually lift and mount anything, rather than just moving anything up and down the dock. The building I work in, is built on part of what used to be the engine foundry apparently.

It is a gorgeous colour although I think it's one of those cars that you couldn't use everyday - not least for the fuel economy but pick up a parking dent or a scrape and you are looking at a heck of a paint job to put right - plus the lacquer is blistering on the roof?

And for asking just over £19k you think someone could have spend a couple of quid and renewed the MG badges on the grille and boot lid plinth.
And the lacquer on the roof.[/COLOR]

Must be around sixteen years Alan.........

Goliath is about six months younger than me, I would have loved to have seen this yard operating at full pelt, it's funny though, the Swan Hunter yard at Wallsend is now producing offshore wind turbines, among other things.

Mgaz - 400bhp it may be, but Brian is never going to be impressed as his is always a lot bigger!

Brian - if it makes you feel better, I have a 2.47cc engine that produces just 0.6bhp but it always performs and never fails to impress.
