Default A very special thanks too...

Yesterday I was in the depths of despair, following my cars MOT failure and a repair bill that did not justify saving the car.
Thanks to this site, 3 guys showed me the way forward.

In no particular order especial thanks to these guys.

A19-Graham, previous owner of the car, who reminded me it's a car worth saving.

next

Marinabrian, unexpected but much appreciated advice (didn't expect Brian to support a Moonstone). On that note, I'm sorry Brian has given up his practical service to club members but I fully understand why.

finally

Shiner (Andy) thanks Andy for the late night 'phone call, it saved the day and my car.

Great thing about this club, you have friends you've never met, Shiner excepted, so most of all, thanks to these guys I get to keep my car.

No thanks necessary Alan.

And isn't this what the club is all about.
Don't worry too much about Brian's Distaste of Moonstone, it's all in the best possible humor.

Rich, I'll let you my comparisons between Andy and Brian on Sunday after Ive been down for "Little Girl Blue"

All the above comments are so true of this forum years of knowledge with hands that help from all walks of life if it wasn't for GENUINE stalwarts of the forum many a car would have been broke way before it should be keep up the good work and before you scrap these cars a shout on the forum can normally sort something out to save the cars the best forum by far

Just sat reading the posts also I think yourself Alan give a service to club members with your collect and deliver cars service so it's nice to see you get some help as well in return another good guy from a brill forum

This club cost me money
I got so hooked in on the forum that I decided (after 5 years ownership) to keep my saloon, I spent days, weeks here reading and in May 2014 bought a second Connie this one the Tourer.
I would like to think I have friends here that I have not met, even those I may have "rubbed up" the wrong way at times I have met two members that are Rover guys through and through, and been given much free help off them both.
I think the club is in a bit of disarray just now with all the bickering, but I`m sure that will pass.
Ken.

Totally agree with you kenny I've now 4 of different varieties due to the forum and the good folk that are on here 99.9% are of good nature but you get the odd Apple to upset the cart at some stage so let's ignore the bad apples and concentrate on helping the good guys as it shows at some stage we will need the help and knowledge of other members on this excellent forum to keep our pride and joy on the roads

I've met many very helpful people on here over the years - most people forget I was a member for years (mattyprice4004) before I started what I do now.

Thanks to everyone.

You really are in great company with this club, there are quite a lot of us here who wouldn't be on the road with our current cars without the guidance and on many occasions blood, sweat and tears of the others.

Really is a unique family here that we belong to, and as has already been said thanks are not necessary (do it for the love of keeping these very special motors on the road) although it is great to show appreciation and acknowledgement where it's due.

DONE: HAD A CRAZY IDEA THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF MY MG ZTT DUE TO NOT HAVING A DRIVE AND HAVING TO PARK ON A BUSY STREET WITH A VIEW TO GETTING ANOTHER ONE AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE A DRIVE.

ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE
