Quick question for the seriously knowledgable on here:-

If I want to fit a BMW MP3 CD changer, do I need the....

"3) A BMW 6 pin & 3 pin to Landrover / Rover 75 10 pin converter harness to link the intravee to the CD changer harness" ??

I have a the 10pin plug in the boot that goes to the Rover Alpine CD Changer and noticed the BMW MP3 changers have this 6+3 connection arrangement.

Does the CD changer loom go all the way to the front headunit, or straight to the Radio module in the boot?

Im wondering if I fitted a BM24 or BM54, would that mean there is no converter harness required for a newer BMW MP3 CD changer?

Many thanks, this has been doing my head in for ages now, its hard to understand whats going on.
