On Saturday we saw this rather nicely turned out 75 in Arbroath.

Today my grandson Kal helps to polish his namesake.

Today, I managed to fit the R53 Mini handbrake compensator, thanks to the super how-to by Arctic.

A bit (a lot) fiddly, I've now got a fair bit less skin on my knuckles and wrist, but I got there in the end.

I think the threading of the new cable through the centre console should be called the James Herriot procedure! (if you've done it, you'll know what I mean)

Nice three click handbrake all ready for this weeks MOT.

Finally took some brave pills and remove my airbag to fit the cruise controls, I was very lucky as all the wiring was already in situ. With all the "how-to's" on here it was an easy job ....

I have had my wheels refurbed last week. Went to fit the new centre caps of ebay and there to small
I have taken the better rover badges out of them and repainted my old ones, badges are glued back in. Little bit of polish tonight then they will go back on.

Yeah I know what you mean I did mine the easy way and removed the seats and center console. Easier to see what I was doing.

I managed to do a rear bearing by myself a couple of days ago so im well pleased with myself

Didnt manage to do the drop links or strut top mounts though

I had to go to Tesco for coffee, and saw a black 75 that I've seen around the town.

This time I was able to see that it was a CDTi and in really good condition. Two elderly ladies in the car.
