Never seen one of these before!!! looks like the real piece of kit. Have emailed seller asking for details of supplier?

That looks Handy, comes from Germany so is it a Siemens Kit?

Sure looks like the real thing, right down to the three motor fixing screws. Only 2 brush springs though, probably lost by seller.

Will post once i get answer from seller.

From all I've read, I reckon fixing a fan motor is a less than 50:50 bet. Maybe if the commutator is OK. Maybe if the bearings are OK. Maybe if the end plate is OK. Maybe...

At the risk if tempting fate, repaired mine 2 month ago. Still working with no problems yet. Depending on the price of the kit. It is worth a shot as opposed to 100's of quids??? :lol:

I suppose it depends on how early you catch the fan problem, mine used to start and run when assisted by movement of air, then kept running all day. When I stripped it down it was all in good condition apart from two brushes that were obviously very worn.

That punter would have been better off putting 80 quid towards the £170 Kenlowe kit
