Sat at the kitchen table yesterday and a vole ran across the floor! Seems the cat had brought it in then lost interest in it...

A lucky escape for it, the bird and mouse that were on the doorstep were not so fortunate.

I’m sure the birds look on our bird feeder as some type of concentration camp.

LOL Yeah we had that with the last cat, he would bring mice in the house and let them go, you only realised when you heard the screams from the missus

Our oldest cat doesn't bother with them, flies/dragon flies/butter flies etc is another matter

The two young cats we got recently haven't been out & I think they'll just be house cats.

Salad weather again so I'm having poached smoked haddock with Jersey Royals, broccoli & cauliflower.

Morning all from sunny Saltash. I could run but I couldn't hide, the horse fly patrol got me on both forearms. Now on more medication, I wouldn't mind but I put insect repellent on as well.

Morning guys, a bit grey here in Norfolk at the moment, I know what you mean about flies Bob.. we have fields all around us and get bombarded with the little beggars, just ordered a load of citric candles from eBay to see if that helps.
