Will they Nest?
For the last couple of years a pair of Canadian Geese have nested and raise a family on the island in our large pond.
A couple of days ago a pair of Swans arrived. The Geese are not here. I know Swans normally nest in the same place but I thought I saw one tugging at the foliage as if making a nest this morning. Wonder if they will nest or if they are just visiting, we have had a single swan visit for about a month in the two previous years but I thought later in the year. Would be great if they nest and have young. Such pretty birds. macafee2 |

If they do nest you'll need to give them a wide berth, swan's ain't friendly!
