Autoglym Hi Definition wax..
Just had a delivery by Fedex at 6.30pm... anyway, it was my Autoglym Hi Def wax...so straight out there...reclayed the Pearl Black bonnet and applied.....My goodness it IS good! Very easy to use and a very high quality finish...I will have to do the rest of the car now...weather forecast looks good so photos to follow when complete.

I have spent the day claying, then polishing with the Hi def Autoglym...a pleasure to use but be warned, leave it on too long and it is tough going to buff it off... and a lovely smell!...and finished off with Turtle wax Gloss Guard Top Coat Sealer.
The paintwork looks like liquid black now... Sadly, due to other duties, the photos will have to wait until tomorrow. Last edited by Zeb; 29th May 2009 at 19:00.. |

Hey Zeb.
Those are two truly stunning cars. Got myself some HD wax but haven't had chance to use it yet. Have my Dad's BRG ZT-T for another weekend so will try it soon. Love the Black 260 (obviously ). First facelift I've seen with a proper rear spoiler. Looks ace! And is that a monogram interior aswell? |

Thankyou...I am over the moon with both of them! To tell the truth I have never been so elated by a car before...takes me back to my motorbike days... Both brilliant cars and both totally different. The HD wax...make sure you put it on a VERY clean car..preferably clayed first! It appears to be good stuff (although how long it will last remains to be seen) but it is only easy to use on a good surface and if not left on for any more than ten minutes in the shade....3 minutes in the sun! The spoilers...both 'proper' and lip spoiler seem to complement each other. It is indeed a monogram interior...and very nice too. Last edited by Zeb; 30th May 2009 at 20:14.. |
