Washed car yesterday, and today started to polish it in between watching qualifying for tomorrow’s F1. My son bought me a spray container of a ceramic finishing coat which I am trying. Evidently keeps the surface shine and protects against dirt getting ingrained into the paintwork. So far it seems to give it a bit more ‘slip’ than just the Autoglym.

I think it is a blanking plate. You have to remove it to get to the turbo I believe.

Yep it is an access plate for the turbocharger bolts on the diesel engines.

Booked in this morning for the 27th to get this baby (and the rest of it I haven't polished yet) fitted! Thanks Andy! Can't wait as my current rusty one spoils the underside!
