Default Mg zs / xs

Had a poke around one today at Brysons MG in Prestwick.

I know they won't be to everyone's taste but I thought it was very very good.
It looks really stylish, very comfortable inside and the trim quality I thought was excellent.Sadly it couldn't be driven - display only- however i will certainly test drive one in November.

According to the chap there will be two engine's, a 1 litre and a 1.5 litre both turbocharged.

Default Both

Sat in both the XS and GS at East Kirkby Rover Rally. Have to say I liked them both. Seem good value for money considering all the kit you get with them.

Alas the one I really like ( top of range GS is way beyond my car budget)

I know a lot of folk on here think they are awful but it is along the lines of what is required to meet standards and also the type that sells
Woukd Rover be producing anything much different if they were still around?

Chris

Looks very VW inside, the steering wheels is very similar to a golf as is the heater controls. I like them though both this and the GS are nice

According to a friend who works in the engine development dept at Longbridge the 169bhp 1.5-litre turbo thats fitted to the new ZS will drop straight into a MG3..
Now there's fun with a capital F..
Cheers Ian

At one point it was rumoured that this was on the cards, it would have been a proper hot hatch, akin to the Metro Turbo
