Default Made in Britain - Top Gear

Just watched Top gear tonight. Amazing piece of journalism about all the automotive manufacturing that is going on in Britain, all from a show which has been critised for poor motoring journalism.

Well done to Top Gear.

MGR, made in Britain

Was about to post about this too. I'm still watching it and I'm amazed at what this country still makes. Plus I'm a Scotsman through and through but if that *** Salmond thinks we'd be better off alone, well I hope he's watching Top Gear. Britain is still a GREAT country

Yes we make far more than people imagine. Trying to get some air time for success stories is nice to see. Too many to quick to think we don't make anything any more, good stuff BBC

I totally agree, and unfortunate MG Rover is no longer around to be part of it...

I didn't see an MG there at all, and yes a great shame about Rover not being there.

Not seen it yet. I take then that the opportunity was not taken to give MG Cars UK some favourable publicity, especially seeing that 99.9% of the public don't even know the company exists and actually is making cars. What a surprise. But never the less, good to hear that something positive has been televised about what remains of the UK car industry. I'll look forward to watching it.
