car polish

Hi All, I have run out of car polish and need to get some more and just wondered what other members like/use for the best results, cost is not an issue I just want the best for the car in protection and shine so lets have some ideas folks.

Post cleaning prep, Autoglym every time. Followed by, ..............wait for it, .......................Simonize original wax.

Have a look at cleanyourcar.co.uk for everything you will ever need.
I would clay it first, if you have nt already done so.

Then I would use Auto Finesse Rejuvenate followed by a sealant

I use this mainly - I have no complaints, neither heard many either......

And it's cheap and easy!

Don't buy any more polish! Wash the car with Autoglym Shampoo and Conditioner, dry, and then apply Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection. In future, after washing and drying, an occasional application of A.E.G.P. will keep it looking good. This always assumes the paintwork is in good, clean condition to start with. If not, then claying may be necessary. Here's mine using this method

Mer is an awesome product, I use it on both my Rover and Caravan. The water 'beads off' for much longer than Autoglym. Autoglym is excellent, but Mer seems more resilient to the elements.

I,m assuming you use the Autoglym Super Resin before the EGP, otherwise the EGP, which is a sealant, would have nothing to bond to

While we are on the subject of polishing how often should 'claying' be carried out ?

I've tried a few products, as for wax, I'm using this at the moment..
