Unfortunately Richard it won't get any easier until your dad is laid to rest and then you can think about making a start on finding closure in your mind, step by step and dealing with your feelings. I am sorry this happened to your dad and to you.

No inquest Phil, the coroner spoke to me this morning and said his GP had spoken to him and was happy to issue the death certificate on the grounds of frailty and old age, unless I specifically requested an inquest. Which I don't, he was Anthony , but always known as Tony.

Unfortunately I know how discovering a loved one can affect you Rich although our circumstances were "different". We ended up being diagnosed with PTSD. Although I'm not suggesting that will happen to you it might be worth seeing your GP to get something to help you sleep.

You are occupied organising everything just now, that's keeping your mind occupied but its after the funeral, when everything quietens down, that it'll hit you.

I know that Steve, but tbh I think I will be that tired by the end of it all, I will have no trouble sleeping. Off to solicitor shortly to collect will.

That's it George, your meter has run out. You were warned, and warned you know that language is unacceptable on here. Club Rule 2 well and truly breached

Ahh well Richard, that's one less worry you to have to deal with. Thank you

RIP Tony

I have had a mental block, my meter has also run out ....

Can someone please remind me. I have charged up Woofs car battery for 24 hours. What is the sequence for removing the charging leads and reconnecting to the car?
