Having given it some measure of thought I think the children should be the ones to have cleaning the chimneys. They will fit up them better and it will keep them out of mischief. And what else can we do with them? ..... There's no point educating or training them for anything else because there aren't any proper jobs for them.

I should be in charge of the government really. In just a couple of days I've sorted adult unemployment, youth unemployment and migrant hand-outs ..... and as a bonus we'll have the cleanest chimneys in the world.

Wotyamean, mush? I'll cut your council tax as well. With nothing to burn we can sack all the firemen ..... oh heck, that's the unemployment figures going up again.

They aren't being released by irresponsible yobs, but people just aren't aware of the risks.

£6M of damage at Smethwick, not to mention the untold risk to life. Cattle die all the time from eating the wire, if they fall in a field that is cut and turned to silage then the wire isn't seen and it is fatal.

These things can travel for 30 miles!

I think they should be sold with much shorter fuses and people made aware of the risks, making it a requirement to retrieve them too.

At last someone with a measure of common sense. Couldent have put it better myself. Well done mate..

Cheers mate.

Or 'not-so-common sense' as seems to be the case these days

I'm behind you all the way mate.. And yes I think on reflection I might be swayed to vote for you if you decide to run.. However it would be impossible to send children up the lums (not that I don't think that the policy holds water) because what with a blocked one being a fire risk they would all have been banned..
