I always strive to keep good records, but sadly I often fail i.e. "there is no need to keep a note of that - I'll remember it if I need to go at it again"

If I do have to revisit some past work, I usually then have to spend ages trying to figure out how I did it in the first place .

yep pin 4 drives the DPDT relay that switches your ATC panel just nip down to Maplins and buy a timer (probably less than £5) and use the wire from pin 4 to drive it probably plenty of room in the relay box as well.

But won't it have to be a delay timer i.e. switches on after a predetermined time delay? Most timers start the timing cycle after activation and then stop.

I hope I'm making sense

Yep, did a few tests today with my 66232C ECU and pin 4 goes positive after about 4 minutes. Obviously this will vary with the coolant temp i.e. on a cold morning it will take a lot longer to activate.

The IPK temp needle was at about 7 o clock when it switched on.

This means that I don't need the delay timer

I think the other route for me might be a Kenlowe thermostat switching the output of terminal 4.

Sounds like a better idea than a timer, Paul.

Probably best to start a new thread in the "Wanted" section. You might get a bit more exposure.
