I reckon they are truly knackered Dave, its looking like the op hasn't worked as I've been in a lot of pain, worst than before. I've had some moments of no pain, but the pain soon kicks back in and drives me blooming crazy, it will be the death of me if it doesn't let up.

When I lay down though the pain goes but I don't fancy spending the rest of my life laying down, what sort of life is that. I feel like I'm beginning to lose the battle, I can feel the pain is destroying me both mentally and physically.

I've actually done nothing these past five weeks, its been hell not being able to enjoy life. I'm back at the hospital next week, see what they say, but I feel like they don't care.

Mate, I'm so sorry to hear that.

I can't even begin to understand what you're going through.

I know the laying down isn't the answer but at least it can give some respite while they come up with a plan b.

Let's hope they have an answer.

I hope so Dave, my life is in the hands of the gods, or gonads as the case maybe.

I hope I can get my strength back sometime soon, as my eldest daughter has just finished UNI and is moving to Portsmouth's with her boyfriend in two weeks, and my youngest is off to UNI in September.

As it stands at the moment, I struggle to pull the skin off my coffee.

Thanks Bob, I appreciate it.

You know me Bob, a can be a right chatterbox, its not like me to get down. I don't usually do doom and gloom, but life sure is trying its hardest to pi** me off.
I'm certainly missing the cars, I've not done much to the ZT, TF or the Capri lately, I'm desperate to get back to the norm.

The cars can wait. Health and family are more important.

Update! Had my follow up this morning, and KABOOM! I saw a different surgeon, and he reckons it's best that he removes the testicle, I didn't even have to ask.

He said the operation I had six weeks ago where they pop out the testicle and have it in their hand, the surgeon saw inflammation around the testicle and a epididymal cyst, so they've offered to cut the blooming thing off as anything else would most probably not work.

To say that I am sh**ing myself is an understatement, what red blooded guy wants his knackers cut off, and what if it doesn't solve the pain? What an awful decision to make, and what makes it more difficult is the fact that I have had some pain free moments this past week, this just adds to the whole confusion.

What would you guys do? Is there any member here that has lost a testicle for any reason that could offer some advice.

Thanks all.

Once recovered from the anaesthetic he was given a drink and a sandwich and once he had emptied his bladder he was aloud to go home, a couple of days of discomfort apparently ( makes me wince at the thought) but he reckons it was worth every penny.

He also reckons everything works as it should.
Hi Steve, I remembered your post after all this time, your post has always given me some hope that maybe one day I will be pain free. I'm hoping that I can join the club that your neighbour is in, that I can be another one of the success stories.

Ooooooohhh...

Do you need it anymore?

You'll still have one left? ( Or right )

Just in case

Not sure if you could save a few quid and stick in with the peas?

Lol Dave, you sound like the surgeon, that's what he said.

I'm still in two minds on whether to go for it or not, surely it's like taking away one of the fuel injectors on an engine, it just ain't gonna run right is it?
