Talking about cats i lost my cat 4 days before xmas to cancer after 14 yrs companionship and swore down i would not have another...
thre weeks ago i heard of an 11 month old kitten wanting a new home and i was hooked and putty in her paws she has the house upside down but she is drop dead gorgeous and worth it....

It's always hard losing a friend.
We just lost Shadow but it was good knowing he had a loving home and a full life.
