Wimp! Try a battle weary old class 27 from Dundee on a bitterly cold winter's night. I was still a 2nd man, driver and I were taking turns driving and standing against the cab heater the drafts under the driving desk were so bad

LOL Nearest class I've been on TSW is the class 31, the brakes have a ten minute satellite delay on that thing

The TSW2 class 20 is on sale this week for the Tees valley route set in the 1980's,(£8.95) I'm tempted but I need all my pennies for this bleddy 7kw charger. At least the class 20 has a hotplate on the desk which glows red when you turn it on lol.

Cool

Morning everyone.

Think the storm has passed, torrential rain and gale force winds in the night.

Hoping to get out today, take the Yellow one for a run.

Morning all, the wind has been whistling down the bedroom chimney for most of the night, It's 3C & sleeting here with weather warning out for snow, I don't think I'll be venturing from the front of the fire today.

Good morning one and all
Bit of a wild night and just been out to recover the wheely bins but apart from one plastic plant pot we seem to have escaped any damage despite the wind approaching 80 mph in the early hours..
Bright and sunny with wall to wall blue sky at the moment.

Good morning everyone.

Well, it's been a different one this year .

We had a traditional Christmas Day. Plenty of everything we wanted. Lovely presents and the wonders of modern electronic trickery kept us in touch with family and friends.

Quizzie had her walk and there was not another soul in sight while we were out.

There was a mishap yesterday when SWMBO dropped one of our Chef's knives - which, of course, had just been sharpened - resulting in a fair amount of blood all over the floor and some swift and not particularly pretty bandaging followed by a trip to A&E (Good Hope for all us Brummies out there) .

Roads were quiet, A&E was quiet and the verdict is probably a severed tendon to her big toe (I said the knife was sharp) with a return visit on Monday for repair.

Bright and sunny here now but last night was not nice at all. Wind and rain by the bucketful.

Take care, be happy.

Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

We had strong gusts of wind yesterday with heavy rain last night, but not much of a storm.
