Wood Rim Steering Wheels
In an early sales brochure that I have, the wood rim wheel is clearly photographed with "thumb rests".
Two little humps at about 9 and 3 o'clock. Does any one know if these made it into production please? BRG75

Well, I know at least one did because I seem to recall (probably 6 or 7 years ago) a member on here had one for sale, or was restoring one or something (sorry, can't quite remember the details). I'm sure the thread had a pic or 2 as well.. So, if one was made, I'm sure that at least one batch was made. However, to say that these are rare would be an understatement of monumental proportions.. Cheers, Karl. |
