Default 2l d 2004 auto 75 ECM SWOP OVER

car will not start will turn over EP on gear panel on dash ecm dry white soleniod next to it is u/s .can i swop ecm or will it req programing.also will i need the key and immobilzer module . thanks Roy

I agree with Stocktake, a can of worms can be opened quite easily, but it's more awkward to sort it out properly once it's been bodged.

There is so much more to address than most people appreciate, and I'm sure Russ will be more than happy to sort it out for you

Yeah definitely better off getting Russ to sort it out, keep getting cars in with VINMISSMATCH on T4, Russ will sort in properly

Yes it can be a real pain if you need to reconfigure anything or replace any of the other ECU's can't it

As well as causing things to not work properly if the vehicle ZCS configuration gets corrupted.

It may just seem cheaper to fit an ECU set but it can end up more costly in the long run

Why? you could always post me your ECM and I'll fix it for you, and if it's beyond fixing I can transfer the coding to a replacement, making it plug and play.

Cheaper than buying a new car too
