Thanks to the prompt response of our members, thanks a lot, I would have been in dire straits otherwise as the rover was parked behind the MG so without sorting it I would have been car less!!

Well Jennie, I've just received my stock of Valeo cases, so if you want the key refurbishing properly, or indeed the other key done so you can see the difference between the £2 rubbish from eBay and a real one just let me know
It will also save you from breaking your finger tips off, when you are trying to press the rock hard buttons, because these are just like the originals, only brand new Brian |

Just a bit of advice. Don’t try to lever the transponder out of the casing. Just cut each end of the casing round the transponder and bend the casing away from the transponder and out it pops easily. Done this on the Four I have replaced.
