Prices seem hit and miss don't they?

I was charged £35 for mine to be 4 Wheel Laser Tracked.

Well I am now wondering just what the garages with these low prices labour charges are as most garages charge up to £100.00 per hour around here and as I watch my laser tracking being carried out which took well over half an hour I think I got a good deal. And to add before any one asks I did have a full tank

Where I work we don't class tracking's as by the hour labour.
We charge £19.95 whether it rakes 5 minutes or 30 minutes.

Hi Mark that seems to be a very good price for a 4 wheel alignment.

What is the name of your place of work as I am often in the WSM area and it would be well worth my time to have the alignment check at those Prices especially if adjustment is needed, it would be nice to meet up with you

regards Derek

I had 4 wheel laser tracking done and it made no difference, still only getting half the wear out of rear tyres. The tracking was arranged through a local Rover specialist who took it to another garage who had the laser kit, and he reckons this is a problem that is often unresolvable for some particular 75's

I've heard this too about the adjustment for the rears, but I can't remember where. Bummer if you've got one like that.
The teflon £50 Infinitys that were put on the back of my car for its MOT before I bought it 20,000 miles ago are showing little sign of wear, so they seem to be well named. But the nice and sticky £120 Avon ZS3s that I put on the front about 15,000 miles ago will need replacing in the next couple of thousand miles. Perhaps I should get a V8

Default 4 wheel tracking

I just took mine to get it 4 wheel tracked as i was getting uneven rear wear but the garage refused to adjust the rear suspension saying that it wasnt adjustable. They admitted that the camber was out but would only adjust the fronts as they said to match the backs. This makes the car pull to the left and wears front tyres out quickly as you try to offset the pull . Can anyone recommend a garage whos prepared to adjust the rear suspension or can they recommend a piece of kit to do it myself
