Toaf - installing
I have ordered an interface, I know about linking pins 7 and 8, but what of the Toaf files do I need to install please?
Its a Mk2 with all the options, the Xenon lights from factory and the full set of airbags fitted.

Toaf if great, however exercise caution.
Before changing ANYTHING use the backup function on each module, and save the file name as MASTER-xxx (xxx being ecu, ipk, bcu etc). I did with all modules EXCEPT the IPK, now while toaf does make an automatic backup as you play with items, the backups arn't where you'd like them to be in documents etc, they're in the program folder of TOAF, but saving your own master copies will make it easier to put it back to as you found it state. Other than that enjoy it. It also allows downloading and uploading of ecu maps, but not sure I want to delve into that one. |

Is toaf working on windows 10? I tried connecting it with my Autocom DS100E vci unit, connected succesfully, tried reading something ecu related and it gave me driver error. And also, what about pins 7 and 8?

I have yet to fully test TOAF, but so far it has worked absolutely fine - the few bits I have checked and with Win10.
