this sounds like it could be a likely culprit.
I will lubricate the wastegate and see what happens.

As for the other posts, no throttle, no butterfly, as mentioned.

As for pedal calibration?
Not sure about that as the problem is intermittent.
Surely it would be a consistent problem if that were the case.
But if you can find out the procedure for setting it up, it will be good to tick it off.

Today, whilst driving it started and stopped doing it, on the same journey with no engine switch offs in between.....
I'm thinking something might be loose.

the sensor on the High pressure fuel pump has a snapped clip on the connector. It stays in place, but does not clip in? could this be the cause...
I will glue the snapped bit so it sticks in place and see if that helps.

thanks

Default re throttle / revs

Hi,
my zt cdti does this too, and intermittently. Does not seem to do it when cold. I am wondering if it is the throttle potentiometer (or the link needs some lubrication).
I have reset the throttle pedal, key in position 2 and depress 5 times apparently - still the same, did it before I put the synergy 2a and k&n filter on, the MAF is brand new with the synergy kit and there is hardly any coke in the EGR.
It is only a slight delay, but it is so annoying when you know it should not be doing it. I guess the potentiometer is the nearest thing the cdti has to a throttle body..think I'll get one and see what happens...will post once I can get the time to do it..

Welcome to the club. This is such an old thread that you'll be better off starting a new one - link back to this one if it's relevant enough, but I don't think there's much that's useful here.

Paul, it is likely to be a poor connection to the HP rail sensor, this is common with the type of tuning box you have connected
