I remember wanting one, but never having one... :-(

Reminded me of something else, but no idea of how to even look it up. 'Twas a fighter plane (American?) on the end of a bit of nylon, which you then "suckered" or stuck to the ceiling, and then set it going round and round in circles!

Not a Gadget as such, but he sure had a fine collection of Gadgets to play with, mine included the VSTOL Aircraft, a Helicopter, Jeep and a Tank. More outfits than Dame Edna Everage (though obviously more masculine lol) and an Armory to make any "Survival" Nut in the Deep south jealous.......

Yep - Its Action Man...........

The helicopter thingy- had one of those in the 70s but the batteries seemed to last about ten minutes. Bought my son one a couple of years ago-fantastic- can land that thing on a pinhead- might venture up the loft and get it down for a bit of practice
