Bought the car in November. So far....

Momo Sphere Leather Gear Knob
OE Floor Mats (Carpet)
Proper Smiley numberplate and new one for front to get rid of crappy Vauxhall Garage ones.
Drivers Cup holder
Boot mounted warning triangle.

Early days yet but loads more to come in the pipeline!

He's a bit ugly but I love him. Still can't seem to find what car it's from. (Thinking about the mesh grill thing soon............)

I note in the HowTo that you say the one with the word Rover impressed into the surface is for the earlier, pre-project drive cars. My 51 reg car which apart from a plastic wood dash, appears to be pre-PD, has the coloured Rover viking longship badge in the centre, as in the one you removed.

As the badge is deteriorating a little, I'll be looking for a replacement of one sort or another.

If I get one from an earlier car, it will match the Contour wheels I have replaced the later Crowns with, I suppose.

I thought I was looking at something entirely different there. Then I thought, well it might work! And now to my point....would this little cubby thing be adaptable as a boot interior grab handle? Clutching at straws maybe, but it looks the part. Any thoughts anyone?

I assumed the one I replaced was post-PD, but interesting to note that yours is pre-PD. The badge on my original was deteriorating also, hence the replacement. I prefer the look of the 'ROVER' ones as it gives the boot smoother lines IMHO.

Well, I do have a few things to do on the car, (thank you, thank you, thank you Crofts!). And I need to remove the boot liner to secure the new boot handle with some self tappers, so whilst the liner is off, I shall investigate methods of attaching the trinket tray as a boot grab handle.

Let us know what the outcome is, won't you.
