With the doctors and nurses, unfortunately you will have to keep asking until you get an answer.

Yeah, just don't expect an answer! My problems that are being investigated now are things I mentioned to the liver specialist during a telephone consultation a long time ago The response I got from him to everything was "yes, that can happen" no mention of what can be done about it.

Dear me! This rain & wind is diabolical again, The garage is swamped, the conservatory is pouring with water as the rain is being forced under the lead flashing.
Water pouring in over the kitchen window as the rain is battering the back wall.

Raining off and on here but relatively calm, wind is supposed to get a bit wild again around ten tonight.

Doing a roast pork dinner but don't really know if I want anything to eat Had a decent meal last night and its knocked me all to hell again.

I had a different experience to yours Steve. When I worked in the NHS, the patients who complained the most or the ones who made the most noise, usually got the attention over those who did not say or did not ask anything. Of course there are exceptions to this. I know you are well able to speak up for yourself.

When I asked the cardiologist about the treatment for arrhythmias, he said it’s going to be a new blood thinner to prevent stroke or we will have to shock your heart then put you on the new thinner. I asked another question and it was about prostate cancer. He said let’s sort your heart out first, but if your worried about it, research has shown if you knock one off 23 times a month it’s beneficial for the prostate. I wished I hadn’t asked.

Food smelt so good I ended up having some and I'm regretting it, feel uncomfortable.

Trouble is telephone consultations always feel rushed, don't like them. Specialist just brushed over what I said and offered no advice or a route to pursue the problems. Wasn't til recently when the fatigue was really getting to me that I spoke to the GP and he set things in motion, blood tests, more medications , err . . . . camera investigations which I'm not looking forward to.
