They are never too young to learn.
David and Caroline, the pit crew back in the day, assisting in securing the bonnet divi bars ready for the next race. Note the sledge hammer bottom of picture, used to adjust the panel gaps. It's all relative mind. Last edited by Mike Noc; 2nd May 2016 at 20:10.. |

I can't trust mine with a hammer! It'd end up across my head just to see what happened

Yes I was the only one swinging the hammer. Just for safety - it wasn't as if we were worried about damaging the bodywork.

The only thing I've done so far today is stand looking at my ZT-T through the window contemplating how much hard earned it's going to relieve me of in the coming months. Oh well, in for a penny in for a grand

I gave my ZT-T a bit of a rest this BH weekend - she has taken me all over the place in the past month and is going so well I don't want to tempt fate with small journeys.
Only thing I did do was to reflect on the state of the front drop links that are knocking after just 9 months. Very disappointing. Am considering some adjustable ones - not because I want to adjust them at all once fitted - but because I would hope they may be made to a higher standard. |

Talking of drop links, can anyone recommend some that don't start to fail within a year. I bought some Mayle brand ones that are supposed to be heavy duty, but have yet to fit them so can't report yet.

Wonder if there's a 4x4 one of roughly the same length??
