Default Nearside airbag crash sensor.

Hi.
Simple question. I've an early car, is the nearside crash sensor the same throughout the production run? If not when was it changed, I need to replace mine just don't want to dismantle a later car to find its incompatable.

Cars fitted with Temic SRS DCU will have green side impact sensors, those with Autoliv SRS orange.

The change is consistent with that of the modular passenger compartment fusebox, to the hardwired variant.

Yours will be the earlier type Trevor

Just have a look at the PC fusebox, if they are micro fuses then yes it's too new, if it's the earlier type with a plug in in fusebox, then that's the one for you

By the way if you need an LSM for your car to sort out the sidelight issue, PM the VIN and mileage from your car along with your address, and I'll post you one up

Well you learn something new every day - looks like I'll be harvesting the sensors from my '54 plate 75 to keep as spares for the ZT-T.
I hate them blimmin' micro-fuses - my hands are far too big to faff about with them.
