Default just for a change

well I've been having trouble with my FBH now I've had it working but I can't seem to get the dousing pump to kick in all it does is nothing,I've put 12v across the pump and it's fine.so what happens is when you hit the remote the FBH starts dies for a few seconds (and normal)the pump kicks in but nothing just a big rush of air now I've had to replace some pipework as it was nact could it be lack of fuel all help needed please thanks gordon.

Hi , did you prime the FBH by pulsing the fuel through when first connecting up ? I had to keep dabbing the pump terminals while a pal waited for it to come through to the main unit .Then once pipes connected it work fine all the time it was fitted..Apologies if this has been done .Cheers Nige

thanks nige ive done that with fuel coming out by the heater the heater doesnt seem to want to spark to life,so far had a new pump plus PCBs done last winter so should be good to go all it does is wind up it was working last week but since ive messed with it just out of intrest is the end of the pump with the connecter on to the heater

My problem was the FBH glowplug.
PM FrenchMike with the details and he will probably give you a couple of tests to do to isolate the problem.

Hi Gordon.
Drop trebor and or Devlish a PM I am sure they will be able to tell you why your FBH is acting like that, they maybe able to check it out for you on their software they have Arctic.
