I will state this straight out, you cant do right for doing wrong sorry. As Brian has said it is refreshing to see cars (esp quite well known cars) priced realistically. Note I said realistically rather than right or correctly. This is the bit 'you cant do right for doing wrong'. I think you have underpriced them by at least a couple of hundred quid each, especially within the forum where they've been relatively well documented.

I am assuming you have priced them for what you need, so if you had tacked a couple of hundred onto them, you had wiggle room so any potential buyer could drive away happy knowing they 'knocked you down' - I dont know if it is the same in England, but it is expected to go home with a 'luck penny' here. (although because of inflation that is normally about a hundred quid plus lol). If you are advertising them outside these circles, stick a couple of hundred more onto them.

I dont think you are being greedy either, far from it. It is a shame you cannot get close to what they owe you, but I live by the philosophy that some things are more important than money. I would normally end by saying good luck with the sale, and I hope you get what you want for them, but somehow I dont think you will need that luck, and there should be no reason why you cannot get what you are asking for them! So I will say instead, good luck with dealing with your sister in law for the future.

I don't think they are under priced, they are priced to sell quickly. I don't think Dawn wants to sit on them dealing with tyre kickers for months. Priced like this they should sell quickly with little hassle.

Maybe I’m being stupid or a soft touch but if was in a position to purchase either I’d quietly offer more than she’s asking for them but that’s just me. Treat people how you’d like to be treated

The thing is people in the club probably have a car already. I hate the idea of Ebay though.

Thank you everyone.

Hi Dawn. Don’t let them go for less. Tell them you have not charged for the fuel in the tank.

Ahhh Cr@p. If the white one had come up just a few months later I'd have bought it for my sisters birthday.
