Default What does your 75/ZT share the garage/drive with ??

I thought it might be interesting to find out what 75 and ZT owning households have for a second car. At the risk of making myself the subject of ridicule Ill start this off by owning up to a black Kia Picanto "Glamour" residing next to my 75. SWMBO wont drive my 75 (thank goodness) as its "too big", has no interest in cars and drives very few miles. Our Picanto is just celebrating its third birthday but has only done 8K miles. After youve finished laughing consider this: cheap to buy/tax/insure/fill up, 4 doors, air conditioning, 4 wheel disc brakes, alloy wheels, MP3/CD stereo, absolutely reliable and seems pretty well built. OK its a bit plasticky inside but as cheap and cheerful motoring its better than you might think. No, I never drive it myself, except that for some strange reason it is always me who has to take it to be filled up, which thankfully isnt needed that often. OK that my confession, now its your turn...................

My 2nd car is a 1973 MG Midget which is off the road at the moment because I'm putting a VVC Kseries in it

Audi A3 and a Skoda Fabia.

Plus a Moggie Minor and Scirocco in the Garage, in bits.

Currently Janet's Polo and my dead 400GSDi which is off to the scrap yard early next week.

Also got an MG Maestro Turbo which is undergoing serious work at my mates garage.

Moody blue shares the drive with a facelift Discovery TD5, as with the ZT a fine british car with a hint of German as it was also created under BMW's ownership.
Behind the Garage door, in the warmth of the garage, lies my darling 1973, old english white, MG BGT, that I purchased 8 years ago with the engine in the boot and birds nesting in the bumper. She was restored within twelve months and is still my pride and joy.

SAAB 93 Vector Sport Anniversary (150) Diesel - what a mouthful!

Great car but not a patch on my beloved ZT - I am quite glad that nobody made me a decent offer on the ZT - thanks to the credit crunch it looks like I'll be keeping it - future collectors item for sure!
