It says the following:-
IPK Changer V1.0.0 This software is FREE for personal use only, it is not to be used for ANY commercial gain. To use this software you will need a Vagcom 409.1 KKL cable (available from Ebay), pins 7 & 8 must be soldered together for it to work on the Rover 75/MG ZT. Install the cable and plug into the car's diagnostic socket. Start the program and select the COMxx port belonging to the cable. Press the "Connect" button, if successful, a message will appear "Connected to IPK - YACxxxxxx") and the "Commands" section will become active. "Enable MC Speedo" - this will enable the digital speedo readout on the message centre. "Set MC Language" - Using the "Select Language" and pressing the button will change the language text. "ODO Miles" - Changes the lower part of the display to show distance in Miles. "ODO Km" - Changes the lower part of the display to show distance in Kilometers. "Test Chime" - Tests the internal IPK sounder. "Test IPK" - Tests the dials and indicator lamps (not all lamps can be tested). "Set Oil Service" - Enter the mileage you want your Oil service interval to be set at. "Reset SIA" - Clears ALL service interval data, Oil, Inspection and Time. "Restart IPK" - Resets the IPK back to a power on state. Hope this helps anyone who has downloaded the zip but cannot read the text file.

Never had a problem with zipped files before Much preferred XP to Windows 7 ; Windows 10 won't download to my pc !
I tend to prefer older things , like a Rover 75 ! Thanks for the tip .

Excellent
Thanks for the time and effort you have put into this and for offering it as freeware. The user interface seems simple and easy to use, I have an old VAG lead that I used on VCDSLite on a X reg 2000 VW Passat. Would this lead do the job after the soldering is done?
