Ok, i got the ECU outside, but i can't see the NNW number.

As well, Brian, please take a look at your inbox, i sent you PM.
Thanks

Hello again,

Some news for this problem.
I swapped MAFs between my working and sluggish diesel. Same thing happens, my CDTi auto is still sluggish with other MAF.

As i can see one of the injectors is somehow imbalanced. Should i change the injector?
Marinabrian, do you have good injectors for sale?
Now, what to do next?

Thank you

The NNW number should be on the white sticker with the VIN number on

Have you cleaned out the boost pressure sensor on the side of the manifold, you can't remove it without removing the inlet manifold.
If the sensor is blocked or the hole in the manifold where it fits is blocked then it will greatly affect the power output
If the intercooler or the hoses to it are holed then that would also be a possible cause .

Thanks Russ,
Yes, i cleaned the MAP sensor when i had the manifold off, but i didn't clean the manifold.

Ok, i will try again finding the NNW number.
As well, i don't see any hole on the hoses between intercooler and EGR, but i found some oil on the sensor that is on the half way between intercooler and EGR. Why is that?

Finally, i had some time to get the ECM out and search for the NNW number.
The number is: NNN500340

Any new ideas?

Default diesel down on power

Just a thought does the engine run cold or at normal temp?If cold or cool how long has it done so. Is mileage done short local runs. Happened to one of mine and turned out the cat was choked and caused back pressure. When on hills or fast motoring lost power.

Hello, well it mostly used for short runs.

Most noticeable is when trying to accelerate while overtaking.

How can i check the cat at all?

Thanks

Default power loss

the way I checked the cat on my car was to disconect the front pipe at the flange, bend the pipe down as far as you can take off the rubber mounts to do this then I used a camera with a flexi tube to slide down the inside the pipe this flexi tube has a light on the end and will let you view the state of the cat.

Checked the cat, it is not choked at all.

I got somewhere on the forum that it may be up to crankshaft sensor, is that possible?
What else can cause power lack on Auto?
