Default My X-power grey MG ZT 135+

I thought i'd start a thread about my diesel Zed. I bought it 2 years ago, prior to that i'd never owned a car longer than 4 months.....so its safe to say i like this car. It was on 90K back then, now its on 123K.

As bought......

In the past 2 years i have done the following work on it.

New wishbones
New fuel pump
New rear brakes and pads
New alternator and belt
New hid bulbs - old ones dim after 7 years
Led interior lights
Hi spec kenwood stereo + 8 gb mem stick
Motorola bluetooth kit
Hardwired tomtom 920 mount
New drop links
New struts
New strut top mounts
Refurbished gridspokes
190 front brake conversion
Smiley rear numberplate
New wheel nuts
Mondeo engine mount modification
Powerflex exhaust mounts
Longlife stainless exhaust + decat
Synergy 2 + Pierburg maf
V2 air intake
New fluids
New intercooler pipe + bypassed egr and pcv

Pics when it had hairpins on

Some recent pics

Methinks they are the airship hangers in the distance in the pics.
Love the car but then I do belong to the Facelift club ...lol.. very interested in your exhaust as it's on my list.
Being quite close to Duxford are you going to Zed10 in July or the national at Flixton.
Cheers Ian

I prefer the grids too, thats why i bought another set, i think they suit the colour better....hairpins suit the brighter colours better i think.

well ive done 30k ish in two years, probably 12k in the first year and 18k in the second (change of house)

Very nice photos - the two in the wooded glade set the car off nicely - it looks really good. Totally agree that the second set of alloys suits the car so much better.

Thanks mate, yours looks x-power grey aswell? Yeh I thinks they suit the car better whereas I think hairpins on something like the blue or yellow ones look better, each to their own though.

The colour of mine is Pewter Grey, but going from the photos it seems very similar. Probably look totally different side by side
