Default door lock problem

I have a 03 75 club se 1.8 the passenger door won't open with either key,key fob or internal button but still locks with the fob button and opens from inside using door handle have tried to re-set by pressing fob buttons but no success before i try anything else does anyone have any solutions or ideas and how do you remove door panel to see inside?

p.s. the problem started when a friends son was pulling on the door handle as i was trying to open with the fob all other doors and locks work fine.

The problem sounds like a failed door locking solenoid.The mechanism contains two motors,one for locking/unlocking,which one side of this motor could have failed,the other motor is for the dead locking facility.

Source a good second hand replacement,the unit is of the sealed type,and not recommended to be stripped down.
