I need to change the discs as the are shot as the car had been standing for some time by the looks of their condition.. With pocket in mind I and as the callipers were a wee bit seized thought I would strip down to see what I needed etc
At some point new shoes had been fitted but wound virtually right off then fully adjusted as the handbrake.. Cleaned up inside on the drum/disc with a flap disc reassembled and adjusted correctly with 25mm on lever and now have a hand brake that works.. 3clicks now just need to change discs and sorted for test 😄

Hi Nigel Cheers passed again for the third year running no advisories, commented on how the handbrake was good he did however point out that my rear heat shield was a bit loose, let me take look nothing a bigger carbon washer once fitted will not sort out but said he could not add it to advisory, he also said I am wasting my time with this car so well pleased I am on top of the MG ZT, Tourer is the next one in August so I have time to bring that up to mot standard if I have to cheers Arctic
