radiator fan
Hi. Can anyone help me please,the radiator fan comes on about 5 secs. after switching on the ignition on my CDT club.
Any help why this should happen would be appreciated. |

is the aircon switched on (and not on ECON mode) if yes, try switching it off and see if it still does it

Thanks for your response, I didn,t realise the air conditioning brought the fan into action, turned it off and its sorted my problem, gratefull for your reply, Cheers. John.

It makes a change someone posting to complain that their fan's working!
(Fan should come on automatically when selecting aircon/demist, even before engine is started - as it seems it does on your car.) Angus |

Oops. Must remember that in future!
Shouldn't there be a separate forum - or a sticky closed FAQ post - entirely dedicated to radiator fans?
