Default Where is the switch for the glovebox light

Hi can't get it to work, tested bulb and it's okay but can't seem to find the switch for it, any help ?

Have you tried switching the main courtesy light switch in the roof on and off?

Only when I first bought it to check it worked okay

I'm possibly wrong but I didn't think it had one. I assumed it was on the ignition circuit.

Yes and that can be the problem. On my car every now and again the glovebox, vanity and map lights all fail to come on. A quick press on and off of the overhead light switch and they then work correctly.

Nope still not working, so looks like a glovebox out to check the wiring.

I've never had one apart, but according to Rimmers the lamp and switch are combined.

Default Glovebox

I had to remove my glovebox recently to retro-fit cruise relay etc and discovered that the switch for glovebox is integrated into the left hand hinge of the box door - there is a micro switch within the hinge itself - hope this helps ...
