Default clonk/knock noise on full lock

Hello my car is making a clonking-knock noise on full lock but it doesn't do it when driving in a full circle its just the initial knock as soon as I turn the steering on full lock I got someone to turn the steering wheel whilst I hold the coil spring and I couldn't feel any twang in it but the noise does seem to be like coming from the strut bearing on passenger side
thanks

Top strut bearing or if it only happens when on full lock when driving it
Could well be the CV Jiont.

After experiencing similar symptoms, I would recommend changing the while top mount and isolator, not just the bearing.

My old car had knock/clonking noise from engine bottom area whilst setting off.

Sounds like a lump of metal hanging in the air and hitting things whilst moving.

Garage said it was the CV joint wearing out....

But yours only happen stationary....

A good place to start, it's probably the bearing.
