Loose trim
This window trim of the drives side won't stay put, any ideas why. Do I need a replacement? Or am I missing something.
Just an irritation every time I look in the mirror Last edited by Duotone; 4th January 2014 at 16:51.. Reason: Forgot the pic |

Mine has the exact same problem, going to use clear silicone on mine to hold it in place when we get a dry day..

Why are you worrying?
I'm sure when you turn the car unto it's wheels, the trim will fall in place.! |

On the flip side (sorry!) does anybody know how they are attached and how to remove them without damage?

Gives you a new perspective on life!
If they are anything like most I have seen, they have clips along the length, that grab the top part of the door skin. Usually roll the window down and give it (the list) a smart jab with a flat hand. Often placing a flat piece of wood on the list will help with distributing the force evenly, chances are they will seat again. |
