Sorry to hear that.

It comes to us all at some point.

Shout up if you need a hand - I'm sure there's quiet a few on here who will pop over to help.

Oil level was not losing

A/C cool as a cucumber.

Power steering fluid seeping, looked over full.

The door windows struggle to go up and down or get stuck.

The rear left passenger door is jammed.

The left front and left rear carpets are soaking wet.

The boot carpet I dried out and I have left it out until the drains are done.

The vacuum brake pipe has to be replaced blah blah

Check wheel balance and alignment.

Not quite enough to scrap the car, but what do I know

Apart from that, everything is good, a beautiful and pleasing drive

That’s all about the V6

Phil, the water level is supposed to be below the fins, make sure your not overfilling it.

Yes,

Sorry I should have made it clear that I meant when we are allowed to venture out again.

Thanks for the nudge.

Thanks for the encouragement Steve. To be honest, not much has altered in my lifestyle. I have never been a ‘crowd’ person, Meets excepted. We are still going shopping once a week as normal. Walks are as usual, but I do miss taking the dog for a walk in Sutton Park five days a week, which belongs to our ex next door neighbours who moved around 2 mile away.I do really miss that ( you will know what I mean I am sure). It is a good job I have the kv6 Connie to concentrate on, otherwise I would be climbing the wall. I have got a mechanic who is going to take it to his workshop and put the new spring in on the offside rear. All that will be left then is the timing belts and a bit of faffing about. Two new trackrod ends have been fitted so will have to get it tracked before it goes back on the road for its Mot.There is no rust on any body panels. The wheels probably need a refurb, but have not tried to clean them up yet. Be glad when this fiasco is over. Hope you and your wife are keeping ok.

So \today I had planned to give the car a good wash and clean out as I have not done this since December...…

Anyhow as It is pouring down with rain here in Ireland I gave up on that endeavour….

So last year I had switched over a petrol and diesel IPK as I planned to replace the IPK in my then 2.5 V6 75...I was not done as the car had to be scrapped.....

So today I have switched them back...…

I also ordered two new rear light seals as the pervious owner had used sealant and had removed the seal.

Also ordered headlight cleaning kit as the front lights have faded.....and two new led number plate blubs....

Well I had to pop to Arctics' for something, noticed how clean his god damn patio was, came home, and started to brush, clean, jet wash, and re-sand the drive. Used to take me less than a day, in the past I have come home from an early shift, wire brushed between the paviors (to save a mass of sludge when using the jet wash), and jet washed before tea. Going to take me 2 days, after a hour or so, I have to go and put my feet up.
