I tested different lower engine mount on my car before finally fitting the power flex mount. Some of these mounts leave a lot to be desired

Aaah, the one and only Alfie out for his constitution. He's some dog , good enough for the title. We bestow on him, The Great Alfredo.
Looking forward to catching up with him again when all this virus NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- is over. |

Finally put the front spring protectors on that I bought 6 months ago. 45 minute job in total, including washing the inner wheel arches well.

I did my left hand spring protector on Monday.
When I got my set from Rimmers last summer one of the special self-threading screws was missing. They sent me a replacement set but I hadn't got around to putting the left one on till now.

With plenty spare time now, I removed the damaged front bumper (after hitting a deer last year) and polished the headlights as the UV layer was very patchy. After getting a nice clean finish, the 'new' bumper went on and it looks a ton better - no masking tape now keeping it together! The only slight issue is that the 'wedgewood' colour was supposed to be a match but its actually slightly lighter version from my JBH but it still looks great now and for £50 incl postage, a bargain

the zt
slow work but moving forward.
today got the led temp readout fitted and working. fitted new pollen filter. it was by the look of it never been done. drilled the drain holes clear. yes I mean drilled out . again had never been done. couldn't get them clear with tools so a nice long drill bit did the job. and front and rear badges sorted with new ones, also new wheel trims fitted. the list is getting shorter but not by much. air con to sort , fuel tank to sort plus any other stuff I find. |

Cleaned the satnav drive connections with electrical cleaner and refitted the satnav drive. The HighLine display is graphically nicer and TMC back in operation, just waiting for spurious electrical issues now
