I am 6 months on from my operation and I am doing well, but the doctor said it could take 6 months to a year before I am fully recovered. I have another operation in June/July in London, a bypass operation on the right leg to get through. I had the same operation 5 years ago on the left leg, so I know what I am facing.



We are in the UK at the end of May and I am hoping my friendly mechanic will be able to find a car for us which has auto and working a/c would be a treat, thank you. Apart from that…..



We have to make the best of what we have and get on with life. What’s important Richard, is you take good care of yourself, your mates here are all rooting for you.



Don’t worry about visiting or writing up in the forum - that can wait, pace yourself.



It’s a priority your health and well being matters the most

Evening all, I’ve been home exactly a week since last Wednesday, and I just wish to say once more to everybody who gave me good wishes to get better soon.
I’m at doctor on Friday to get about 50 to 60 staples from my head.
Phil I’m so pleased to see your health is looking very good, but I never realised the operation was so serious. I hope your leg ends up very good like your previous operation too.I might come in tomorrow and maybe on. Saturday.

Kalinichta! Ti kanis! Poli kala? Don't forget to sample the metaxa 12 star.... or 7 star..... or 5 star! (not when driving though - zero tolerance in Greece!). Another few weeks for us to wait yet. Are you in Thesalloniki area? We have a friend from there originally. Enjoy!
