The usual, cams, polished and ported heads, K&N, larger throttle body..

All depends how much more bhp you want

A friend with a ZT was looking to do the same, spent hundreds on the engine, gearbox and exhaust, stripped back the interior etc.

Suggested the car may go faster if he did not weigh 22 stones, much cheaper fix too..

K&N filter

Have the factory x-power, accufab and K&N and got 274 BHP at the crank (opposed to the 256 standard)

I haven't done a remap. Without additional mods (cams, heads etc) there is not much gain (typically 10% or so on NA cars)

Accufab is a straight bolt-on, no remap required

Janspeed in Salisbury can do a remap

Sadly a Blower will always give you the best bang for the buck on an American V8!

I spent a lot of time and money on my old 302 and still only got it up to about 300 bhp!

You may find this Link useful though!

The sc would be fantstic! And when you look at the price of the kits in the states they are very good value for money but as soon as you look in the good old UK these companies here just take the pi55! I think the accufab would be a good starting point.

The key is getting the mapping right, fitting the blower is easy

Dreadnought spent a long time getting the map right

You get what you pay for
